To educate real estate managers, certify the competence and professionalism of individuals and organizations engaged in the management of real estate, serve as an advocate on issues affecting the real estate management industry, and enhance and support the members' professional competence to identify and meet the needs of those who utilize their services.
This new promotion from IREM® National will award chapters $100 for every student who registers for a qualifying online course and lists your chapter as the referrer at the time of registration. More online students means more professionals engaged with IREM®, more professionals taking classroom courses, and more professionals starting the journey to become CPM®, ARM®, and ACoM Members!
There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer. It takes the effort of member volunteers for our chapter to be successful. In addition to the individuals who serve as Officers and Directors, there are a number of committees that must be chaired and staffed. Get involved by filling out the Member Participation Form or by contacting Cindy Matthews at 757-351-3718 today!
Chapter 39 participates in Region 3 education programs. All chapter meetings begin with an education session at 11:00am.
On April 20, we learned about PACE, Property Assessed Clean Energy, a new way to finance energy-efficient building upgrades. Thanks to all who attended!
And congratualtions to Angela Scott, ARM®, Newport News Redevelopment Housing Authority (left) and Tisha Warren, ARM®, Reliant Realty LP (center), for earning their ARM® designations, which were presented at this meeting by Chapter President, Shira Ali, CPM®, Divaris Property Management Corp.
